Dream Photoshoot.... Short just a detail or two ;)

Hello all!!! I've been working like a mad woman. I am still in the middle of my latest project and not completely done working the last of the photos for the I-Pad application ad for the private jet company that worked with us. But, I really wanted to share some of the shots!! (Okay, okay... I am tired of working photos and needed a break.... lol) Hope you all enjoy!!

The model I used for these shots is amazing Tiffany Felisha..... (Here is a link to her on-line modeling portfolio should you like to take a peak! She is wonderful....) I had made plans for a male model to accompany her in a really cool tux (provided by the awesome A Tailor Tuxedo & Bridal Shop) but he was a no-show... I was bummed! But the shots still turned out wonderfully......

This black and white is one of my favorites of the day.....

Another of my favorites.... Tiffany is gorgeous and so amazing to work with! She rocks...

And the last shots of the day with the light fading fast.....

Well..... I hope you all have a Maaaaaavelous day.
Ciao Bella!!

So many cute things on!!

So I found a really cute site this morning....!!

Not Etsy. (But mostly ALL of the items that people posted there that I had thought were amazing came from Etsy. :) The site I found today is called Must Have Cute, and it is strictly for the "Too Cute" items. I had soooo much fun just looking threw all of the pictures of what people thought were cute. Some I totally agreed with..... Like these!!!!

cute kawaii stuff - Epicute: DIY Rock Candy
Remember making rock candy as a kid? It was like magic! Making candy from nothing but sugar and water! Of course we did it on strings and never had any flavors or colors. This is some fancy craft time right here. I think I need to get back to doing simple crafts like this, so fun!

And these....Penguin Paper Clips!!! Totally unnecessary I know, but still....

And I would almost agree to another hamster in our home with one if these!..... Almost ;)
cute kawaii stuff - Hamster Racer Set

And I saved the one I loved the best for last! I LOVE this pillow/chair so much....and wanted to get it for my daughter for Christmas, but they want $750 bucks for one!? Good luck with that peps.......
Too bad though. I think she would have loved it.
cute kawaii stuff - Nap on a Short Stack

Okay.... Now for some of the ones....that were NOT so much my taste. Lol Not to judge anyone here.... Just not my cups of tea. :)

But come on...... On what occasion would you wear this exactly?
cute kawaii stuff - Sweet Head

They called this guy the "Little Wounded WamPAL"..... Ooooookay
cute kawaii stuff - Little Wounded WamPAL

And last but not least on my AllllllllllRighty Then List:
(I really have no words for this one.....)
cute kawaii stuff - Monster Hunter Pig

The site I got all of these images from is . :)
Highly recommended if your ever bored and want to look at some really random images...(like I do) They have a TON of sites connected to one another that all have some pretty strange and funny images on them. I had a blast. :)   ******Except for the cat site. That was just a bit strange to me. lol Just my opinion. More of a dog kinda gal.***

Hope you all have a wonderful and completely random day. :) If you've read this, then I'm sure I've helped with that....

This is For Manda Mack... Photo Wall Pics!!

So, it has been a LONG time since I have posted to my blog.... But I have really good excuses! I've been knee deep in Weddings and Graduations, my kids are on summer vacation (Who came up with that?! I already can't wait for August.. Lol) needing either my attention or my cab services every second of the day AND my mother has been in town for three weeks..... I've been neglecting a lot more then my blog lately. Oh boy...

BUT.... The reason for my blog title, is that I got a kick in the butt from Manda Mack to get back into the swing of things. Thank you! : ) I needed that. Lol

Photo Wall Update: So, I really wish I had had the time to post every step of construction.... But yeah. Oh well. Lol Here are some shots of its maiden voyage... It was a bit too dark out by the time dinner was over, and I think my wallpaper decision was not the best. : ( The white just soaked up the light and washed out most of my shots... Darn it! Ooooh well. It is a work in progress I suppose.

This wedding was really amazing and I'll post a couple of my favorites from the day here too, but first... Here is the Photo Wall in action!!

This one was my favorite...

This couple was just awesome... Gotta love the arms holding up their little one. : )

I had thought that without glass, the pictures wouldn't reflect... I was wrong. The bride and groom gave me some old black and whites of their family to use in some of the frames.

I just had to leave her tiny little feet hanging out of this shot... Too cute!

Isn't she beautiful?! I just loved this bride.... She was awesome.

I was having the guests... ahem...borrow props from the photo booth that the brides grandfather made for the wedding. : ) I got some great shots in his booth! Thank you Bride's Grandpa for letting me borrow your props for a bit... They were awesome.

Viking Groom...

Manda... : ) And everyone else that was kind enough to re-visit my near dead blog... Thanks for hanging in there! Hope you liked the pics... And let me know what you think of the wall. If you aren't too mean. Haha It was a LOT harder then I thought it would be to get a straight shot. Oh well... Live and learn!

I think I am a bit too tired to post more pics tonight. : / But if you'd like to see a few more of this really amazing wedding, they are here.

And I am off.... Good night! : )

Why I've neglected my blog...

So... Does anyone else feel horrible when they haven't updated their blog? As if the world is waiting for an update on my DIY photowall. Lol Seriously! I am constantly feeling guilty....NOT that I haven't even worked on the wall project in two weeks now. No, no. I feel guilty that I haven't posted the why. Haha... I just have to laugh at myself sometimes.

Anywho, the reason I have neglected my hair, ; ) is because I have just finished work on two very amazing clients photos! I will post a couple of my favs here, but I will have a lot more on my photography blog, if you'd like to see them. : )

Here are a couple of my favorites..... I really adore these guys. It completely POURED rain the entire night before and morning of our shoot, and we decided to go threw with it anyway and see what happened!! Sooo glad we did. The shots came out absolutely amazing. They really were troopers threw the cold and all.... (And to those of you reading this thinking....Yeah right, Phoenix Arizona... Cold? But it is true! It was downright chilly out.

I had to REALLY force myself to stop here... I have way too many favorites to try and share them all here. But if any of you would like to see more, I have more on my professional blog..... OR even better, if you have the time and inclination. lol Their gallery is Open to the public for now on my Main Site! Let me know what you think! ; )

OH! And I promise to have an update on my photowall soon. I've been bummed that I haven't had the time to work on it....

I Need Your Input! ... Help!! : )

Hello there!
So, it is Sunday morning...and I am about to get going on my photo wall project for the first time this weekend. Very exciting!! I had wanted to dedicate the whole weekend to it....but, yeah. I have kids. ; )

Here is where I need some input:
I am going to go look at the wallpaper ideas later....and it is a HUGE commitment! Because in order to change it out I will have to remove all of the frames. Good thing I thought about that now and NOT when I have already glued them up! HA! I can see me using a whole bottle of wood glue on one frame...just to be sure, only to realize that I have to get them off later for a new theme! ; )

Here are my thoughts on what I want..... Any suggestions??? I am torn.

#1 Something simular to this... With only black and white? It seems to be the safest bet, but I really wanted it to be fun too. Hmmm

I LOVE this one...

Or #2 here.... would look so cool with the frames and antique pictures on it... But I am not sure if I should commit to such bold colors? It might clash with the colors of the first wedding that wants to use it?
Or lastly I've thought of something like this... #3
Which is truly very antique-e... Lol Very vintage. But again, I am afraid of possible color clashing?
So please let me know what you guys think!! I think I have been thinking about it too much. :0)

Oh! And I've (Well, my hubby mostly and I) have gotten the frame almost done! So that it will stand up on it's own... I am soo excited. I will have to post some progress pics soon.... Just promise NOT to look at the dirty yard behind the project, kay? ;)

Here is a picture of the original idea... Just incase you needed to know what the heck I was talking about. :)
Thank you for your input and I hope you all are having an awesome Sunday... :o)

DIY PhotoWall Project!

So my photowall project is officially underway! Check out these shots I have for my inspiration….. I am soooo in LOVE with this idea. I can't wait to get started!!!

Here is a copy of my current DIY checklist of supplies:

 Two huge pieces of plywood
 2x4’s for the A-frame stand
 Really amazing old fashioned wall paper
 Cheep/cool thrift store frames that I can strip down, spray paint and attach
 Glue… Lots and lots of glue
 Thrift store antiquie looking pictures (Or maybe print some awesome ones out from the internet and just buy the frames at thrift stores.)
 Spray paint

So…I’m sure I will need a lot more then this, but it is my starting point!! I am off Home Depot to buy the wood today!! I am so excited. I’ll let you know my progress……. Wish me luck!

Is there such a thing as a Blog-a-holic?

Is there?? I really need to know....
It feels like I have been in blog world for about a week now (as I've been building mine and my husbands blogs....) Trying to get them just right. To then mess them up and have to try and fix them. To over fix them to the point that they look like total crap....and back again to where I was when I started.....3 hour before.
As this ever happened to anyone else?

So....I have only popped my head up for more coffee and to run down the hall the the bathroom, but then I am right back in blogland again. I dream in blog......Wow, I need to just Step Away.

Soooooo....... For now.
My blog is as good as it's going to get. My hubby's blog, is as good as it is going to get. Because if I don't move away from my computer today, I think I might suffer some long term effects.

And to those who might not like how it's coming along.....
(At least I got my hair under control during that last run down the hall to the bathroom, right....?)

My very first post.... Now I don't know what to say!

How about I start with a "Hello!!!.....Welcome! I am so glad you stopped by.
And well....I created this blog because I was jealous. That's right, jealous. : 0)

You see.... I had just created my very first blog ever, my Business Blog, and I really love how it turned out!! Butttt..... Since it was my very first ever experience with blogging, I had to reach out to some other blog sites (aka Amazingly Talented Groups of Women) for inspiration and such. And well.... I started getting jealous that they could just pop on their great blogs any ol' time and just post away about anything their heart desired! My Business Blog I suppose needs to stay professional for my clients, therefore I wasn't able to just.... Post about things. For instance, this reall cool chair I got at a thrift store...........  : )
I got this beauty for $15 Bucks. I love thirft stores.

So Yeah....I am so excited! Both for my chair and for my new blog!! Please feel free to comment! I would love to create a really great group of "Coffee Drinkers and Discussers of All Topics "In Between". (But you don't really have to like coffee...Tea is perfectly acceptable ; )
